Farm Hall and the German Atomic Project
in World War II

By David C. Cassidy

Interview with Physics Today on Farm Hall

This gripping book brings back to life the events surrounding the internment of ten German nuclear scientists at Farm Hall, a British MI-6 safe house near Cambridge, England, immediately after World War II.

The book includes not only a history of the German nuclear project and an essay on history and drama, but also the script for Cassidy's theatrical play "Farm Hall" based upon the declassified transcripts of the scientists' conversations while at Farm Hall.

The play was presented in New York in July 2014 by Break A Leg Productions.
